What Not To Wear-Bloggy Style

A few days ago, I sat pondering at my ‘puter. And as I pondered I realized…

I love my blog.

Mainly the content I mean. It’s only place I can be ME, let down my hair, biotch a bit, and tell an occasional poop story. I just had my one year Blogiversary (insert banners, confetti and parades here) and looking back I am kinda…well…proud how my writing has evolved and grown. And people! Oh my goodness, the cool people I have connected with!

I love my blog.

But I had one dilemma….my blog was ugly. Efffin ugly to be exact (shhhh, lower your voices. It might hear). Looking at the colors and layout made me snnooorree. I like bright and cherry. I like colors that POP. I like playful, yet classy. Most of all I like CHEAP. My sticking point was…. I didn’t know what to do about it. Call Ghostbusters? Will Stacy and Clinton do a “What Not to Wear” on my blog? CAN Stacy and Clinton do a WNTW on my blog? Can I try on a new blog for a 30 day trial then send it back when I gain an additional 20 pounds?

THEN.. (done-ta-da-DA!) Lo and Behold the SITs blogger if the day was modmamas and through Modern Mama I found Leelou Blog Designs (that’s her shiny button on the right). Instantly I was in heaven. Look! (salivate, drool) there’s bright, happy colors, that POP! OOHHHH..and I can afford these!! Giggling like a mad-mommy/woman, I installed my new template and “aaahhhhhh”"… a breathe of fresh bloggy air. I like my new blog. It’s my Blogiversary present to ME!
